Roland Berg
Roland Berg (he/him) is a Research Coordinator with the HHCJ Lab and currently supports the Transitions Clinic Network: Post Incarceration Addiction Treatment, Healthcare, and Social Support (TCN PATHS) project. Prior to working at Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute, Roland served as the Community Engagement Coordinator for the University of Wisconsin’s HIV Care and Prevention Program, as well as an HIV Test Counselor/Community Health Interviewer for the Oregon Health Authority. He has additional experience in the realms of health/science communications, project management, and infectious disease research. Across his work, Roland aims to use human connection and personal storytelling as tools in addressing structural and social factors that generate health inequities. He was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota and holds a BA in Biology and English from Lewis & Clark College.
