Peter Bodurtha

is a Data Scientist based in Minneapolis, MN, managing Hennepin Healthcare’s Virtual Data Warehouse (VDW) and data logistics and analytics for the Minnesota Electronic Health Record (EHR) Consortium. Graduating with a Masters in Public Policy (MPP) in 2011 from the University of Minnesota, Peter spent eight years at Hennepin County designing data integration strategies for health care, housing and criminal justice data to improve county services. While at Hennepin County, Peter worked with HHRI on research to convince the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office to start offering Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) at the Hennepin County Jail. At HHRI, Peter’s data and analytics work builds on his experience with cross-sector data to identify and implement data linkage strategies involving the VDW to improve available data resources and support research at HHRI.
