Nathaniel Karr, 

is a Data Scientist for the Health, Homelessness & Criminal Justice Lab within Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute. Nathaniel’s work in the HHCJ Lab includes work on the Minnesota Electronic Health Record (EHR) Consortium and the Hennepin Healthcare Virtual Data Warehouse (VDW) through data engineering and analytics. Among working with the MN EHR Consortium, Nathaniel assists with other analytics work for the HHCJ Lab to help support the vision of health equity and is passionate about supporting this vision of the lab. Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics with a focus on statistics and data analytics, they spent two and a half years working in the data analytics field before ending up at the HHCJ Lab.
