Joey Dagher,
is a Senior Research Coordinator at the HHCJ lab. They support the Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network (JCOIN)’s Transitions Clinic Network: Post Incarceration Addiction Treatment, Healthcare, and Social Support (TCN PATHS). They are originally from Lebanon and have worked within different areas of public health. Their career has shown a focus on refugee health, LGBTQ+ health, adolescent health in the Middle East, and FGM/C prevention initiatives in Minnesota. They earned their B.A. in Political Science and Biology from St. Olaf College. Joey is passionate about systemic reform, especially within local and global healthcare systems. They hope to contribute to an accessible, equitable, and justice-based local and global health system.
